My Trip to Africa
I decided I would take this journey with her. Yep, I'm going to Africa too! I've been out of the country once by plane, plenty times by cruise ship and once to Canada by bus. This trip in November will TOP all of these trips. For one, I'm going with my mom (YAY!) AND it's both our first time to the Motherland. It's right around the corner, I'm excited for the opportunity come November.
Mom has been preparing longer than I have, she's reading about the country of Ghana, learning the language and building her stamina for the 10-day tour we embark upon November 1-10th. We come back just before her birthday. She has her passport - I just sent application and expired passport for mine to be renewed. She's been to the doctor about the Yellow Fever vaccine - I'm still weighing the pros and cons. Deposits are paid and we are planning our travel arrangements with Tripping Travel out of Atlanta, Georgia. Shout out to Tasha for streamlining the process.
