The Start of Us

I started curating Lyvonne's jewelry collection in fall of 2018, November. This being four months after retiring from a previous direct sales company who sold high fashion jewelry.

I loved jewelry. I still love jewelry. I wanted to have pieces that represented me and those who look liked family. Enter Lyvonne. For years I've always wanted a fashion brand with my name. I named the business Lyvonne; my middle name that I share with my mom, Bessie Lyvonne.

Lyvonne was created as a means for her make some extra income, specifically to fund her trip to Africa.

It began with humble beginnings profiting very little, under-managed and haphazardly scrambling to schedule to vend at local events. I knew I needed to reach more women further than those in my city - I needed an efficient and beautiful website desperately and set my goal to have one.

Today, we have a website filled with beautiful artisan earrings with the main purpose of funding my mother's 2020 trip to Ghana in November.
